Any good horror movies streaming on Netflix?

Okay, you’ve probably seen all 47 of the Hellraiser flicks. They range from brilliant to just awful. Most of them, you shouldn’t watch sober. Consider yourself warned.

Halloween approaches! You’re looking for something suitably macabre! This is what I got for you.

  1. I've seen most of the 'recommended' horror movies on Netflix, because I clearly have a problem I'm powerless to control.  I've seen most on this list, too.

Pontypool (on the list) and The Awakening (not on this list) are two that I like to recommend.

  2. Pontypool was excellent. I will check out The Awakening after I finish VHS.

  3. Casey Garske I bailed out of VHS partway through.  I got bored.  This is rare, because I'll sit through some pretty schlocky horror.

  4. I bailed after the first one because it actually managed to make me motion sick. That never, ever happens when I'm watching something or playing a first person game or anything. But I really liked that first story, and I love alien abduction stuff so I'll stick it out I think.

But how to get my wife to watch The Broken? She was just telling me how when she passes a car on highway that's the same make and color as hers she always expects to see herself driving it.

  5. Casey Garske The Broken looked interesting.  Hope she likes it!
