You would come up to Quetzalcoatalus's armpit, at most. 36 ft. wingspan. Fossil tracks show this is how they walked. They could probably fly 80 mph at 15,000 ft.
Fuckers are Gargantuan (really need a 4" base), but they're painted well and have a rubbery texture and hinged jaw. You can clamp their mouth shut on a PC mini!
Originally shared by Jonathan Tweet Tonight, my "Lethal Damage" 13th Age campaign draws to a close. Meanwhile, the guys are work have talked me into running a couple D&D sessions for them. That was the day 13th Age was announced, and they're happy to play 13th Age instead. That will be my "Great Center" campaign, based in the imperial capital of Axis, the center of the world. It's my opportunity to explore the setting from yet another perspective.
Correction in comments, I'm still mad Ok, I found out the 5e allosaurus from Tomb of Annihilation was only CR2 and was outraged, so I made a comparison of a D&D character and allosaurus specimen MOR 693. Then I compared the allosaurus to a polar bear, also CR2. The bear has 5HD and the allosaurus has 6HD. So, I take it back. CR 2 is fine.
Hey, how big is that mini your son got? Would it fit on a 2-inch base?
ReplyDeleteDo you think they could interfere with 19th-century locomotive?
ReplyDeleteJames Olchak yeah, I think it would. The brand is Collecta.
ReplyDeleteLarry Lade I can see them stabbing through the roofs of the cars or picking off the characters having a shoot out on the top.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I found it online, it's a cool mini. Collecta makes dinosaur corpses, even.

We have a ton of Schleich animals, dinosaurs and modern animals. The mammals make for good dire animals too.
ReplyDeleteMy next campaign is gonna be Jungle Island, Lost-world-type stuff, so dinosaurs are always welcome.
ReplyDeleteA few years ago when Target stopped carrying Schleich I stocked up on a herd of clearance priced triceratops and brachiosaurs.
ReplyDeleteMan, that would have been fresh.
ReplyDeleteYou can hopefully see them in action if this link to my Flickr account works from mobile :
