    Cuttlefish, more like. And yes, that's not an artifact of the animation, he really was color-cycling.

    Cuttlefish are weird creatures.  I've always rated them above squid, but below octopi.  Which are all vastly inferior to mindflayers.

He lived in a hut built over a dug-out at Squirrel Narrows.
