Random idea for high-lethality D&D campaigns: Character death unlocks new classes and races. Maybe useful in “special snowflake” campaigns where no one reads your carefully crafted setting material. Instead you roll it out piecemeal as PCs bite the dust. “I really want to play a saurian warlock…sure, I’ll take a drink of that mystery potion.” Someone probably thought of this before.
Hypno-squid.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful animated picture.
ReplyDeleteHypno-squid told you to say that, didn't he?

ReplyDeleteCuttlefish, more like. And yes, that's not an artifact of the animation, he really was color-cycling.
ReplyDeleteI cheated and looked at the file name, which described it as a cuttelfish.
ReplyDeleteFor the people that think this is fake I assure you it's not. The creature is mimicking color and texture.
ReplyDeleteShapeshifting Octopus, amazing camouflage
ReplyDeleteWTF nature
ReplyDeleteCuttlefish are weird creatures. I've always rated them above squid, but below octopi. Which are all vastly inferior to mindflayers.
