ReplyDeleteNo, she gets it from her mom. If I'm enjoying a mystery, I get caught up in the reading and don't examine the clues too much. I might have a light bulb moment, but not that often.
ReplyDeleteMaking quality inferences based on clues in the text. That is high level skill for 5th graders.
