Last night I watched Willow Creek, Bobcat Goldthwaite’s found-footage Bigfoot movie. I’d only recommend it if you like at least three things on the following list a lot.
Bigfoot
Bobcat Goldthwaite
Found-footage
People scared in a tent
I didn’t understand the ending until I looked it up afterwards. It was pretty dumb. But this poster is killer.
"Scared in a Tent" is a good band name.
ReplyDeleteThat poster is an excellent Patterson-Gilman callback.

ReplyDeleteGood eye, Jason Morningstar. The movie is about retracing Patterson and Gimlin's steps.
ReplyDeletegoldthwait is seriously one of my favorite directors. shakes the clown, world's greatest dad, and god bless america are all brilliant. i was interested to see what he could do with a premise like this. and it totally fell flat for me. oh well.
ReplyDeleteapparently he just released a documentary. i'm hoping he's as good at that as he is at black comedy. or at least closer to that end of the spectrum than his abilities with found footage cryptology films. ;)

How does this stack up against Harry and the Hendersons?
ReplyDeleteHarry and the Hendersons has 1000% more Bigfoot and John Lithgow.
