You get blisters on your hands and feet. As you recover, the blisters and all the calluses on your feet slough off in chunks, revealing tender red skin underneath. You've never seen such monster feet. I should have taken a photo.
Hand foot mouth is Awful!! I got it last year. Its really rare for adults to get it. You only get it once and most people get it when your young and hardly notice. As a 41 year old I was laid up for almost a week with angry blisters on my feet and the back of my throat.
Random idea for high-lethality D&D campaigns: Character death unlocks new classes and races. Maybe useful in “special snowflake” campaigns where no one reads your carefully crafted setting material. Instead you roll it out piecemeal as PCs bite the dust. “I really want to play a saurian warlock…sure, I’ll take a drink of that mystery potion.” Someone probably thought of this before.

ReplyDeleteAgain thrilled to be kidless.
ReplyDeleteOver 24 hours with Coop on his eye drops, and everyone else's eyes are OK. Bullet dodged.
