Man, I loved watching Herculoids as a kid. Part of me is afraid to find / watch a video on YouTube for fear that my current eyes wouldn't have the same rosy view of it as my nostalgia-colored glasses.
Your Beat 'em Ups! Give them to me! My daughter and I have played the hell out of X-Men on my PS3. I'm bored! She's not, she could blow up sentinels with Storm all day long. Are there other button-mashers out there that: -Have a playable female character (so Ninja Turtles are out) -Available on PS3 -Multiplayer I'm aware Dungeons & Dragons: Shadows of Mystara comes out in June. Can't wait. But until then, I need something new since I can't listen to "Nothing stops the Blob!" again.
Rating the Marvel villains so far on a scale from Excelsior (good), to No-Prize (could be explained that they’re either good or bad), to Bullpen Floor (bad): Iron Monger: Excelsior Abomination: No-Prize Loki: Excelsior Red Skull: Excelsior Whiplash: Bullpen Floor Justin Hammer: Excelsior Loki again: Excelsior Mandarin: Excelsior Dark Elf what’s-his-name: Bullpen floor Hydra Conspiracy: Excelsior Ronan: Bullpen Floor Nebula: Excelsior Ultron: No-Prize Did I miss anyone?
i think it's cooke writing and doc shaner drawing?
ReplyDeleteStyle so classic I couldn't tell.
ReplyDeleteI can't find anything about Cooke in the original EW announcement. I think that might be a mistake on Bleeding Cool's part. The Cooke-like art being showcased is all Doc Shaner's. http://www.ew.com/2016/01/28/dc-entertainment-hanna-barbera-titles
ReplyDeleteJay Exonauts he at least did this poster

ReplyDeleteMark Whitley, forget YouTube (which would likely be cruddy VHS uploads) Herculoids are on DVD! http://www.amazon.com/Herculoids-Complete-2-Disc/dp/B00553KAK2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1454013819&sr=8-1&keywords=herculoids
ReplyDelete...it's still zany as all get out. Sort of like a D&D hexcrawl on a sugar high.
Daniel Swensen We never hear the view from the other side: "Oh, no! We failed a random Herculoids encounter!!"
ReplyDeleteJay Exonauts Only 30 bucks? Hey, that shakes out to < $2 per episode... Oh, curse you for being my enabler...
Daniel Swensen Oh, wow. Now I pretty much have to watch an episode... or two... or ten.
ReplyDeleteHoly crap! I love Doc Shaner art.
