That's the one Jay Exonauts! That game was a huge part of my youth. Those RIP markers were all over my house, eventually. Come to think of it, we got into D&D because my brother played Dungeon! at a party and wanted a copy and we got D&D by mistake...
Your Beat 'em Ups! Give them to me! My daughter and I have played the hell out of X-Men on my PS3. I'm bored! She's not, she could blow up sentinels with Storm all day long. Are there other button-mashers out there that: -Have a playable female character (so Ninja Turtles are out) -Available on PS3 -Multiplayer I'm aware Dungeons & Dragons: Shadows of Mystara comes out in June. Can't wait. But until then, I need something new since I can't listen to "Nothing stops the Blob!" again.
Rating the Marvel villains so far on a scale from Excelsior (good), to No-Prize (could be explained that they’re either good or bad), to Bullpen Floor (bad): Iron Monger: Excelsior Abomination: No-Prize Loki: Excelsior Red Skull: Excelsior Whiplash: Bullpen Floor Justin Hammer: Excelsior Loki again: Excelsior Mandarin: Excelsior Dark Elf what’s-his-name: Bullpen floor Hydra Conspiracy: Excelsior Ronan: Bullpen Floor Nebula: Excelsior Ultron: No-Prize Did I miss anyone?
I don't recognize the board. Which edition is that?
ReplyDelete(Aside: I'm very VERY tempted to draw up my own print-and-play version)
ReplyDeleteMy fave board game! Latest edition* has the best rules yet -- though I still like the board art from when I was a kid.

ReplyDeleteSeconded!!!
ReplyDeleteOtus' art in the original version that I had as a kid is everything I want out of Dungeony art. Everything.

ReplyDeleteJamey Crook That's the one that I had too -- my favorite box and board art. Loved everything about it. Otus didn't have a thing to do with it. Found out years ago it was all Jim Roslof's work! (I was totally under the impression it was Otus too, BTW.) https://sites.google.com/site/zenopusarchives/home/artists-of-holmes-basic/jim-roslof-art-bibliography
ReplyDeleteHoly crap, for real?!??! Even the monster cards?
ReplyDeleteAll of it!
