Yesterday after seeing Stephen Holowczyk​​'s Blood Bowl tournament pics, I fired up Chaos Edition on the ol' computer for the first time in months. 

Game 1: Actually the final game of a tournament was where I'd quit. High Elves. Only won because twice they "went for it" to score and failed both times.

Game 2: New tourney, vs. Nurgle. Won no problem.

Game 3: Undead. Won, but some wimpy zombie killed my fucking level 6 troll. Killed him fucking dead.

Game 4: Halflings. No problem, I thought. I squashed them left and right but in the end they had broken one black orc's neck, put my thrower out for a game with a broken hand,  and broken a blitzer's skull. And they tied the game on their last fucking play.

    The worst thing that's ever happened to me in Blood Bowl was the loss of my Strength 3 Gutter Runner, Methodical Milo.

    I've lost Gutter Runners before. I've lost very good Gutter Runners before. They are, after all, only AV 7. This one hurt so bad because of the circumstance, though.

    I was playing against a relatively stacked Lizardman team. He blitzes Milo in the first half, killing him. Rerolled it to Badly Hurt, he's fine.

    Turn 7 or so of the second half. He's winning. He says "Sorry, but I need those casualty SPPs". Fair point! I'd do the same. Well, maybe not if I straight bodied someone. Anyway, he blitzes Milo again. Injury. Rolled dead on the chart.

    Good thing I bought an extra Apothecary for this match!

    Rerolls to dead.

    sorry for my not running more league games, but I am crazy ADD. Ill be able to run BB2 soon enough, then KACHOW!

    My favorite part of BB is naming my players. I have BB2 but barely played it. I was in some of cknoors leagues in chaos edition but ive been out of it for a while now.

This is my gaming circle minus my ACKS players. I am such an asshole. Since they're in the big city now, the players really wanted to know if there were any magic weapons for sale. ACKS ain't 3e or 4e though. There is exactly one magic weapon for sale. I rolled randomly to see what it was and... ...it's a cursed -2 sword. So I told the players there's a weapons dealer/fence who's looking to get rid of a magic sword he's gotten ahold of...cheap. Only 6,000gp when usually a +1 item would be 10,000gp. So far they are not suspicious. They're going to be so pissed at me. I can barely contain my excitement.
