November 1995: First movie date is Leaving Las Vegas.
April 1998: Go to City of Angels while on our honeymoon.
And so on until yesterday…
April 2016: Celebrate 18th anniversary by watching final two episodes of Game of Thrones season 5.
So what's on tap for the 20th anniversary? Dancer in the Dark?
ReplyDeleteSecond choice was watching Spotlight.
ReplyDeleteOne time the missus & I booked a hotel for an anniversary retreat and we watched Fight Club together. (She's a keeper.)
ReplyDeleteUnsolicited movie review: Leaving Las Vegas was so hard to watch. It's a good film, well directed with complex characters, but it was just painful to watch these sad people slowly self-destruct.
A couple years ago the wife and I went to see Gone Girl on our anniversary. For those that don't know its about a guy that may or may not have killed his wife..on their anniversary.
