    "Most citizens are too complacent to question how it is that their lifestyle is maintained." This is one of the most cutting bits of satire Siembieda ever wrote. It's a shame that they leaned more into the Coalition viewpoint as "not unreasonable" as time went on. Yeah, they're worse than the Nazis, but can you blame them? Yes, yes I can.

    I'm glad that the Savage Worlds version seems to be running with the idea that somebody in that world would eventually wake up and say "okay, for real though: these guys aren't the solution, they're the problem" and actually start working on overthrowing them.

    Casey G. It's a new thing created by Fannon in response to what went down in those Coalition War books (which I've only read a summary of).
