After playing Armageddon: Da Orks for a bit I went and looked at Slitherine's catalog on Steam and ended up adding about ten of their games to my wishlist.

Comments

  1. Turn based, fairly simple, no animation except the units moving around the board and muzzle flashes. Scratches my wargame itch. Ork voice acting is good.

  2. I DIDN'T REALIZE THIS DLC CAME OUT.

I really enjoyed the core game, but I only ever show up to these 40K games to play orks.

  3. Oh wait this isn't DLC it's it's own game!

  4. Yup, it's own game. Smash the hummies.

  5. Slitherine has lots of good stuff...and a bunch of it is available on iOS too.

Quadriga is a great Circus Maximus-esque game. All the fun of the classic board game, expanded to a full campaign season...without taking 3 hours and a bunch of counters.

I'm currently smashing my way through their Panzer General clone.

  6. I really enjoyed Armageddon. Hit that old Fantasy/Panzer General sweet spot just right.

  7. The Slitherine bundle may still be live at Bundle Stars.... And the top tier game apparently has gotten really smart AI in one of its DLC.
