Originally shared by Jonathan Tweet Tonight, my "Lethal Damage" 13th Age campaign draws to a close. Meanwhile, the guys are work have talked me into running a couple D&D sessions for them. That was the day 13th Age was announced, and they're happy to play 13th Age instead. That will be my "Great Center" campaign, based in the imperial capital of Axis, the center of the world. It's my opportunity to explore the setting from yet another perspective.
"Afterward, when we received our reward money and sold off all the salvaged weapons, it turned out that we had enough to buy an old bus and install a roof-mounted minigun turret with 360-degree rotation, and I knew then what life could be."
ReplyDeleteThat's an excellent story, thank you.
ReplyDeleteI need to know which editions he prefers before I can support his release, however.
ReplyDeleteParole Board: "You've made excellent progress here. Just one final question: how do you feel about Feats?"
ReplyDeletePrisoner: "I think they're a legitimate addition to the ruleset, allowing customization of builds that..."
Parole Board: "Parole denied."

ReplyDeleteMy favourite quotation: "He was beginning to understand that this wasn’t the relatively straightforward world of street-level dope dealing anymore; this was Dungeons and Dragons."
ReplyDeleteBack to After the Bomb, this guy's GM used the "Terror on Route 5" adventure from the main book in his AtB campaign, which totally works. Change the terrorist farm animals to Road Hogs. Brilliant.
ReplyDeleteThis makes me worried about the ego-destroying, crushing nature of prison. I mean when GURPS is a release... Also Minogangster is the best party member.
