Originally shared by Curt Thompson This is an interesting theory, but I notice the author has to omit one of the most important Heinlein novels to make it work. Time Enough For Love was written in the very early 70s and was a straight (heh) extrapolation of the chaotic and frenetic zeitgeist of that era. http://www.locusmag.com/Perspectives/2012/11/the-joke-is-on-us-the-two-careers-of-robert-a-heinlein/
Storm? Or just random?
ReplyDeleteNo storm. I think the heat's been giving our grid some problems lately. We had a brownout at home a few days ago too.
ReplyDeleteMatt, I realized what you were talking about with crits and the exploding dice after we were done. I misunderstood. Tail damage on a crit will be 4 + another damage roll that can explode as normal, last roll is bumped to 4. If that makes sense.
ReplyDeleteSo you roll a 20, damage is 4, you roll, it's a 3 so we make that a 4 for a total of 8.
