ReplyDeleteJust a joke, Paul. This is for sure a response to the resurgent popularity of D&D brand D&D. Pathfinder had a large market share during the 4e days. Must have shrunk.

ReplyDeleteas a person that plays pathfinder I really hope that the new edition streamlines this somewhat. I'm pretty sure that at least 10-15 minutes per session is spent trying to interpret a rule, of which there are many, and of which even more are ignored.
My first reaction was "hey they're copying 5e!" but some of the action stuff that they're doing could be interesting? E6 is awesome though Bryan Mullins, hits the sweet spot for those kind of mathy build games and actually being able to play them.

ReplyDeleteThe Pathfinder 2.0 story was the last thing I saw before leaving Facebook and so many reactions amounted to "why does Paizo have to be a business and make money though? That's not fair to me!"
