Originally shared by Andrew “Incomitatum” Chason Hit Me with your Horror I am looking for some horror flicks. The newer the better. Good is good too. I liked House of 1000 Corpses and Devil's Rejects . I liked both the new Texas Chainsaw movies. Hills Have Eyes 1 was good (never saw the second . Jeepers Creepers 1 & 2 come to mind as well. A little camp, and/or "back woods" can't hurt. Any of you have any recommendations? Lets try and not go too far back than mid 90's. Aside: How was the new "Freddy" movie? Suggested So Far • Bones (2001) • Drag Me to Hell (2009) • The Grudge (2004) • Don't Be Afraid of the Dark (2010) • Dog Soldiers (2002) • The Decent (2005) • Creature (2011) • The Last Winter (2006)

ReplyDeleteLook, I wrote these rules because the main goal of big-name minis games seems to be to get you to buy boosters and accessories. Then when that runs dry to do a second edition and do it all over again. I barely have time to write anything, so there’s never going to be another product for this let alone a second edition.
Yeah it's pretty transparent. I was going to say that the game just came out but apparently it came out in 2012. FFG gonna FFG, I guess.
ReplyDeleteI mean, most of the changes to it seem okay, it’s just that the conversion kits should be cheap. I don’t know, my only experience playing it is with a few booster ships and the core set. Trying to play it at a tournament is absolutely an exercise in frustration, though.
ReplyDeleteThis seems lame as well.
The Force is a crucial part of the Star Wars galaxy that has historically played a smaller role in the game of X-Wing. With the release of X-Wing Second Edition, we have the chance to implement the Force as an important part of the game, affecting how you fly your ships and the choices that you make in the heat of battle.
So I’m guessing using the Force lets you roll an extra die or reroll a result or something.
ReplyDeleteI think it might have their own powers now. Still, they should have just given pilots their own powers instead of it being a separate thing.
ReplyDeleteAre the rule books expensive? I assume they make money selling minis, right?
ReplyDeleteThe rules come with the starters.
ReplyDeleteCasey G. God damn it, FFG.
ReplyDeleteUuuggggh stupid FFG
ReplyDeleteThe nerd rage has been amazing to watch on this one.
