We have a 3D dice man!

What I loved about #io12 was that pretty much no matter who I sat down next to, I could start a conversation by saying "Do you play RPGs?" and the answer was almost always "Yes". The Venn diagram matching programmers and RPG players has got to look like a nearly perfect single circle.

So I was not surprised on our second night out at the after hours parties, when Josh and I sat down on a couch in a bar and I turned to the guy beside  me and asked "Do you play RPGs?" and he said "Yes".

A few minutes into the discussion and I knew he was a very smart guy. So I mentioned that we were looking for someone to code 3D dice for Tabletop Forge. And this time I was surprised when I asked "Is that something you think you could do?" and he said "Yes".

So meet the new member of the Tabletop Forge team: Joseph Pearson. Dice programmer, RPG aficionado, manga lover and all-round great catch. I'm fortunate my busted collarbone made me so feeble I had to rest on the couch where he was sitting. 

BTW, I've had a look at his prototype (yes, he's put one together already) and it kicks ass. Look out other VTTs, here we come.
