I took this shot on my first night photographing in Yellowknife, Canada. There are a ton of lakes near Yellowknife, so there's boundless opportunities for shots of the northern lights with reflections. #MirrorMonday #NatureMonday #starrynights #nightscapes #plusphotoextract #astrotogs #AstroFriday

Am I the only one who preferred Mechwarrior before all that "Clans" business was introduced?
ReplyDeleteNo, but the Clans were already around when I started playing Battletech, so I don't know any better.
ReplyDeleteAnd my buddy who got me into Battletech was a huge Jade Falcon fanboy, so they will always have a special place in my nerdheart.

ReplyDeleteNo. You definitely are not. Chad Wattler has talked about his anti-Clan position a few times on Fear the Boot
Every time I think about listening to FtB it's at work when I don't have any way of acquiring it. I need to get my head out of my butt and download episodes in advance.
ReplyDeleteBrian Takle not sure the type of phone you have, but my podfeeder for android (beyondpod) can schedule updates. So I have it check every night at 3am (while it is charging at home on wifi while I sleep). That way I get the podcasts on a pretty up to date schedule. The paid version is like 6 bucks ( a bit pricey for an app ) but since it is one of my most used, I feel it's worth the cost.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if the Iphone Podcast manager has this ability yet ( I haven't had the iphone since the 3gs and it's ability to grab stuff from the phone was very limited...but that was before all of the major updates to the OS and syncing with the cloud.
Podcaster is a pretty good one for the iPhone. Though I haven't tried it on iOS 6 and rumor has it it's buggy there.
ReplyDeleteI believe it's about as good as Beyondpod, just it's free. I haven't brought myself to buy Beyondpod to see for sure.
I play in an ongoing merc campaign and we play level 1 tech. 4th succession war stuff. Actually now were up to the war of '39. The only level 2 I wish we had is double heat sinks.
