Hey photography peeps.
Hey photography peeps.
In picture 1, my daughter is summoning a spirit as we play Carcassonne. In picture 2, it's gone. When I took the first shot, I felt like I'd taken a bad picture so I snapped another. Is the "ghost" motion blur or a different artifact?
Taken with my 5MP smartphone camera.

Interesting! Looks like a bit of reflected light.
ReplyDeleteProbably a dust mote.
ReplyDeleteYour Cacasonne set is possessed... do you store it close to a Ouija board?
ReplyDeleteDust was my first thought, but those are usually the round "orbs."
ReplyDeleteBrent Newhall might be on to something since the shape resembles the little candle-flame lightbulbs in our chandelier above the table. If I had the camera pointed at the bulb can a camera get after-images like your eyes do?
William Benjamin John Davis I'm going to start calling it Carcosa-ssonne.
To me it looks like light hitting an imperfect surface at a weird angle... could be a smudge or dust particle on the lense that caught the light just right.
ReplyDeleteI would lean towards dust particle as well, you would be surprised how filled our air is with things our brain edits out.
ReplyDeleteBring me a young Priest and an old priest
ReplyDeleteoh cool, we got this game for christmas. haven't tried using it in any necromantic rituals yet though.
