One of the most amazing things about Young Justice is that they took Black Manta, a joke of a villain, and made him into a diabolical badass. His Darth Vader school of fatherhood is actually kind of touching.

    You thought that too...I always thought that Black Manta was one of Aquaman's B-list villains.  Watching this has given me an all new respect for the character.

    I am loathe to say he was one of my favorite characters There are a ton of well-written characters in Young Justice that I can't really choose between them. They made Sportsmaster awesome!

    My daughter and I are season 2 and we just watched the episode with the attack on Cape Canaveral. No spoilers. Aqualad and Black Manta are total badasses. It's incredible. Not too mention Lagoon Boy.

    I know...I felt that Sportsmaster was there on the list with Stilt-Man and Big Wheel.  Now they changed his character and made him a kick-ass assassin.

    I won't give any spoilers Casey Garske , but it keeps getting better from there.  So many twists that you will need a scorecard to keep up with it.

    No kidding with the twists. Here was our conversation at the end of the episode. My daughter is nine.
    Me: "That was crazy! I can't believe it!"
    Abby: "Are you getting it?"
    Me: "What? Of course I'm getting it! Are you getting it?"
    Abby: "Yeah, you were just all 'this is crazy!' and I wanted to make sure."
    Me: "Go to bed."

This is my gaming circle minus my ACKS players. I am such an asshole. Since they're in the big city now, the players really wanted to know if there were any magic weapons for sale. ACKS ain't 3e or 4e though. There is exactly one magic weapon for sale. I rolled randomly to see what it was and... ...it's a cursed -2 sword. So I told the players there's a weapons dealer/fence who's looking to get rid of a magic sword he's gotten ahold of...cheap. Only 6,000gp when usually a +1 item would be 10,000gp. So far they are not suspicious. They're going to be so pissed at me. I can barely contain my excitement.
