3rd and 16th: Clobberin' in the Streets
3rd and 16th: Clobberin' in the Streets
I can't get this idea for a reskin of 3:16-Carnage Amongst the Stars out of my head.
FA is "Fighting Powers"
NFA is "Non-Fighting Powers"
Instead of a weapon, pick a power, the "kills" are now "property damage."
Alien Ability is "Super-Villain Ability" and might be one big bad, an evil super-team, or an evil organization like Hydra.
Need to think about this some more.

ReplyDeleteI think the Threat Tokens represent a super-villain threat better than a set of individual stats like FASERIP (I still love FASERIP). It lends itself to the comic book cycle of initial confrontation, villain escape, next confrontation as the villain initiates the next step of his fiendish plot, leading up to the final confrontation with all remaining threat tokens.
ReplyDeleteAlien Abilities describe the villain's powers.
Superheroes have their Strengths and Weaknesses shown all the time.
"Hatred for Home" becomes "I Hate This City." Maybe everyone with powers has to join a registered super-team or else live in a kind of prison where their powers won't hurt anyone. Saving the city from unregistered supers is probably fun for a while, but...
So what's weird is, I read this post before the image loaded, and the idea that popped into my head was a crazy brawl between Walter Hill-style street gangs.
ReplyDeleteThat would be pretty awesome as well.
