A dungeon from my childhood. I was maybe 11 when I drew this? 12? I think I had a Player's Handbook but no other books. Later I got the DMG which at least had monster stats in the back.

    I wish I still had my first dungeon. It had a room that would grind you up if you closed both doors, and a dragon at the end (of course).

    Que awesome. I did it backwards from you, I had Holmes Basic and the DMG and had to make all kinds of weird things up.

    There was nowhere to buy D&D stuff in my town, so I had to puzzle out what to order from the little bookstore in town. The lady that owned the store and I would look at her distributor catalog, "Monster Manual! That's it!"

    I love how all the old dungeons -- mine looked exactly like this -- were built out of drywall. Because you had to maximize the paper, right?

This is my gaming circle minus my ACKS players. I am such an asshole. Since they're in the big city now, the players really wanted to know if there were any magic weapons for sale. ACKS ain't 3e or 4e though. There is exactly one magic weapon for sale. I rolled randomly to see what it was and... ...it's a cursed -2 sword. So I told the players there's a weapons dealer/fence who's looking to get rid of a magic sword he's gotten ahold of...cheap. Only 6,000gp when usually a +1 item would be 10,000gp. So far they are not suspicious. They're going to be so pissed at me. I can barely contain my excitement.
