Some more photos from the model railroad club Coop and I visited. These were dioramas depicting several Brainerd area towns at the turn of the century. Mostly mining and logging towns. The mine diorama is especially great.

I've only built terrain for wargaming, which is usually really utilitarian and modular. Railroad modelling peeps beat the wargamers every time on terrain.

  1. Yeah, they don't have to move theirs. Or think about line of sight. Or make room for bases of units of miniatures. It's a whole different mindset.
