Pretty new grill on my crappy old deck.
Pretty new grill on my crappy old deck. You can see the natural gas line sticking up where the old grill was bolted in. No idea yet if I will have the ability to get it hooked up myself or if I'll have to have someone else do it.
I know that our gas company GREATLY prefers to do all the hooking up, and it might even be the law. Might call them and see if you can even legally do it yourself.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I don't think I want to mess with it.
ReplyDelete"Crappy old deck" says the man who actually has a deck 😢
ReplyDeletePower wash that crappy deck and toss on a coat of sealer. It'll be good as new. Hooking up the gas is easy to.
ReplyDeleteScrub it with Clorox then waterproof it. Nice grill. I'd love to have a Weber.
ReplyDeleteIn our city, I'm pretty sure that it's the law that anything hooked to a residential gas line has to be inspected and approved by a registered gas fitter. It is possible most fitters will refuse to inspect or approve work they do not do themselves, or done by some trusted workperson that they know. You should definitely check out what the local regs are.
ReplyDeleteWe've got the propane version of the same grill. You're going to love cooking on that thing.
ReplyDeleteI love mine (propane), I'm sure you will too
