Sorry, rest of the US. I've got two excellent senators with Amy Klobuchar and Al Franken, and I even like my Rep, Keith Ellison.

It's nice to see some politicians standing up for science and for reality. We need a lot more like Sheldon Whitehouse.

    I wish I could remember which big oil mouthpiece voiced his concern that wind farms might, you know, use up the wind.

    Ironically, a state that is way ahead in wind power. My company supplies parts for many, many wind sites in Texas.

    If Texas changes, that leaves Arizona in a death struggle for stupidest state with Florida and Oklahoma. :-( Although Kansas may give us a good run too.

    I think they should all be fired and replaced with people who are actually representative of the people rather than big business. I believe it's time for young republicans to reign in their party and stop relying on "science" from 1922.

    I get really cynical when talking about this stuff, my apologies for sounding like an ass.

This is my gaming circle minus my ACKS players. I am such an asshole. Since they're in the big city now, the players really wanted to know if there were any magic weapons for sale. ACKS ain't 3e or 4e though. There is exactly one magic weapon for sale. I rolled randomly to see what it was and... ...it's a cursed -2 sword. So I told the players there's a weapons dealer/fence who's looking to get rid of a magic sword he's gotten ahold of...cheap. Only 6,000gp when usually a +1 item would be 10,000gp. So far they are not suspicious. They're going to be so pissed at me. I can barely contain my excitement.
