Also, Weird Al is making me feel old not because I've been listening to him since I was a kid, but because I don't know any of the songs he's parodying.

  2. I have that same problem, not knowing what the songs are that Weird Al is parodying. I'd heard bits of Happy, but all the rest that he did videos for? No clue. Not even once.

  3. On this album I do much better with his pastiches. He does a song in the style of the Pixies, one in the style of Southern Culture on the Skids, a kind of Foo Fighters arena rock song, and I did know some of the songs in the polka medley.

  9. Ralph Mazza i was recently wondering how many of his older songs he plays live. he often makes dated references. but for me that's part of the charm.

  10. When I saw him live last year he hit some of his classics. He has such a long list of songs to pick from now, though. And a lot of his fanbase has aged with him, so we still know and understand the references.
