Watched Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths with the kids last night.


Watched Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths with the kids last night. Still my favorite DCAU movie. The voice over work is top notch with William Baldwin(!!!) doing a great Batman and James Woods stealing the show as Owl Man. Gina Torres is also fantastic as Superwoman (evil Mary Marvel).

Best fight: Wonder Woman takes Superwoman down with wrestling moves, puts her in a hold, and says, "Submit!"

    What what? I didn't know they did this! I saw some kinda thing with alternate versions of the JLA, but this! How do I get one??

    This one was really, really good - especially since I remember reading the original Earth 3 comic story (although when it was reprinted in the 70's - not when it first came out in the 60's).

    I still think I liked the Flashpoint Paradox just a tad more.

    Flashpoint was great. But forever a reminder to watch the DCAU movies myself before letting the kids see them. I traumatized Abby by accident with that one.

This is my gaming circle minus my ACKS players. I am such an asshole. Since they're in the big city now, the players really wanted to know if there were any magic weapons for sale. ACKS ain't 3e or 4e though. There is exactly one magic weapon for sale. I rolled randomly to see what it was and... ...it's a cursed -2 sword. So I told the players there's a weapons dealer/fence who's looking to get rid of a magic sword he's gotten ahold of...cheap. Only 6,000gp when usually a +1 item would be 10,000gp. So far they are not suspicious. They're going to be so pissed at me. I can barely contain my excitement.
