In last night's ACKS session, the PCs ended up on a small cloud fortress. They found a damaged TBM Avenger torpedo bomber and rescued Lt. Charlie Taylor of the US Navy from the cloud giant's tower. Last thing Lt. Taylor remembered was he and his fellows in Flight 19 flying in bad weather off the coast of Fort Lauderdale. The party said they'd never heard of Fort Lauderdale. Was it by Niole Dra, maybe?

I think they're going to try to hire him as a henchman. But the bard has his .45 and he's not giving it back.

Thanks to Derek Pennycuff for the idea.

  1. Anything is possible in the Bermuda Triangle.

When the bard tried to figure out the .45, his loremaster roll reminded him that the demigod Murlynd wielded similar wands.

  2. I love it! How did you stat out the .45?

  3. Haven't had to yet. The bard just made his ”magic dabbling” roll to not blow his head off. But I think 2d6 damage.

The other question is how to stat the Lt. Time to break out the players companion.

  4. Well I'd stat up the .45 as doing 1D6* with the * being roll again whenever you roll a 6.  As to the Lt. - Lvl 0 specialist?
