Originally shared by Jonathan Tweet Tonight, my "Lethal Damage" 13th Age campaign draws to a close. Meanwhile, the guys are work have talked me into running a couple D&D sessions for them. That was the day 13th Age was announced, and they're happy to play 13th Age instead. That will be my "Great Center" campaign, based in the imperial capital of Axis, the center of the world. It's my opportunity to explore the setting from yet another perspective.
Where did it all go wrong, Casey? I can’t pinpoint it, but it was already too late when they remade 3:10 to Yuma and took a movie that was mostly two men talking about morality in a hotel room and put in a Gatling gun.
Nice.
ReplyDeleteDaniel Swensen, 1999 called. They want their reference back.
ReplyDeleteI SHALL CALL THIS POST THE TALE OF THE OUTDATED REFERENCE.

ReplyDeleteWhat's going on I just logged of the bulletin board I run?
ReplyDeleteI really don't know why they don't just make the Brave and the Bold Aquaman the de facto Aquaman now.
ReplyDeleteOh right, it's because DC has been hemorrhaging talent and is obsessed with making everything super dark.
Edit: Not that I'm hating on Jason Momoa.
I feel Jason Momoa could do the "Outrageous!" thing.
ReplyDeleteBut yeah, Brave and the Bold's Aquaman persona should be standard, like brooding Batman is the standard, and boy scout Superman is the standard.
ReplyDeleteThis was my favorite aquaman ever
ReplyDeleteFo sho, B&tB Aquaman was the perfect mix of campy and awesome. Best was his episode where he went on a road trip with his family.
ReplyDeleteI TOO AM COMMENT!
