Gameable.

C'mon, that's an alien base. If this was the beginning of a movie, as the probe got closer, it would suddenly go offline. Then a plucky scientist would unscramble the last transmission, showing the vague shape of an alien ship. Where's X-Com when you need them?

Dwarf planet Ceres continues to puzzle scientists as our Dawn spacecraft gets closer to being captured into orbit around the object.

The latest images from Dawn, taken nearly 29,000 miles (46,000 kilometers) from Ceres, reveal that a bright spot that stands out in previous images lies close to yet another bright area. Details: http://go.nasa.gov/1DbyQqc

  2. It's an eye, the dark area between the two light spots is the pupil. I can see a mouth and a nose, especially when I squint (you can only see alien stuff when squinting).

  3. That's just an interstellar void-born energy insect on the lens. That travels as Ceres rotates.  Simple, really.
