Thanks to Jay Exonauts I'll be attending and DMing an event at my first Con of the North in February.
Thanks to Jay Exonauts I'll be attending and DMing an event at my first Con of the North in February. I've lived in the Twin Cities for looong time and never gone. Since Jay is trying to organize a big "Saturday Night Space Opera" event, guess what I'm running.
The image looks like a dinosaur, but the shape...all I can see is the Ultimate Warrior's face paint.

Wrestlers in space sounds like a 80's cartoon.
ReplyDeleteIt even may have been, who knows. There was a ton of weird shit in the 80s.
ReplyDeleteYeah, Thundercats was GMed by a 13 year old kid trying to do all the coolest stuff he could think of. Same with his slightly younger players.
ReplyDelete"I use numchuks and drive a tank that looks like a big cat with claws and stuff!"
"I'm a super-fast grown up little boy, and I have a magical sword that changes size and lets me see invisible stuff, and a claw glove that's like a shield, and I'm in charge because dad died and his ghost gives me advice!"
"We play trickster kids with lots of gadgets that nobody can catch, and our names even go together!"
And so on.
Minneapolis Con? Where do I sign up?

ReplyDeleteI think "Wrestlers in Space" was the backstory behind Kinnikuman/M.U.S.C.L.E.
