Dunkelzahn help me, I'm playing in another Shadowrun 5e campaign. I made Snake Eyes, but he's a magic orc ninja with a combat axe instead of a disfigured human ninja with a katana.

Shadowrun is maybe the only game where complicated character creation and min-maxing appeal to me.

  1. Casey G. min-maxing.  Awesome.  Now I just need to get you to embrace percentile dice.

  2. Casey G. It's more classy if you shout "Nevah!"

  3. Don't forget Cyberpunk, lol... it works quite well there too. ;)

  4. It's not min-maxing if it costs you Essence/Humanity, it's immersion.

  5. If only playing it were as fun as creating characters.

  6. I wonder if the game would benefit better from a 1 on 1 format.  Complex action economy mixed with asymmetrical character design left people feeling bored waiting for their turn in larger groups.  In a 1 on 1 game things would be happening to you and because of you all the time, and the DM would tailor it to your character class (more or less decking/magic/physical combat).
