Originally shared by Jonathan Tweet Tonight, my "Lethal Damage" 13th Age campaign draws to a close. Meanwhile, the guys are work have talked me into running a couple D&D sessions for them. That was the day 13th Age was announced, and they're happy to play 13th Age instead. That will be my "Great Center" campaign, based in the imperial capital of Axis, the center of the world. It's my opportunity to explore the setting from yet another perspective.
Same. I've never had any kind of reaction to one, but this one kicked my butt and gave me a 24hr bug. (and I'm only assuming that's what it was, as it started by the very next morning...) Hopefully all is well with you and there is no reanimation.
ReplyDeleteI always feel crappy the next day. Small price.
ReplyDeleteI've got the flu. I was going to get the shot next week.
ReplyDeleteBoo.
ReplyDeleteMakes me think of the old line from MASH - "Remember that shot you gave me for the flu...it worked, I got it"
ReplyDeleteThe hit your immune system takes and the fallout of catching a cold in the aftermath is better than being bedridden for a week and vomiting.
ReplyDeleteThe flu is so much worse than the side effects of the shot, and is lethal for a scary number of people. We forget how dangerous the flu is because of how successful the shots are.
Also, that guy from reanimator is Jeffrey Combs, the voice of Ratchet from Transformers Prime. He was also a couple of characters on Star Trek and was the voice of The Question on the justice league cartoon.
ReplyDeleteThis year's formulation of the flu shot made me feel like hot garbage for a couple days. Hope you fare better!
ReplyDeleteThe nurse was saying this one was different from the earlier formula this season. Four strains instead of three. What that means for the patient the next day we'll see!
ReplyDeleteTMI I know, but I was literally both-end'ing it that next morning. I have not been that sick since a food poisoning bout a few years ago.
ReplyDeleteD:
ReplyDeleteJesse Morgan My favorite Jeffrey Combs role is his psycho Mulder FBI agent from Peter Jackson's The Frighteners.
ReplyDeleteHe basically steals the movie
I STILL need to see that. Maybe tonight.
