Just came across this chart that ILM’s effects dept. used to compare the performance of various starfighters for the Return of the Jedi space battle. I think I need to tweak the speeds of a couple ships for Snubfighter now.

    This is super accurately presented in Armada. I had no idea the interceptors were so much faster!

    This is also what they based the speeds in the X-Wing computer games on. I had the A-Wing and Interceptor at the same speed, the Y-Wing too slow, and the Falcon too fast.

    Tbh I don't remember ever actually seeing A-wings. They're effective in Armada though!

    Paul Beakley not alone. In my one and only attempt at paying up for a named fighter, Luke Skywalker died on turn two after getting mobbed by interceptors he couldn't outrun shooting down all of 1 enemy fighter...

    ..."fuck...I was sending him off to attack that ship...no idea your interceptors could get here that quickly..."

    In other news B-wings had trouble even catching a Star Destroyer to try to shoot it...

    Also true to the X-wing computer game.

This is my gaming circle minus my ACKS players. I am such an asshole. Since they're in the big city now, the players really wanted to know if there were any magic weapons for sale. ACKS ain't 3e or 4e though. There is exactly one magic weapon for sale. I rolled randomly to see what it was and... ...it's a cursed -2 sword. So I told the players there's a weapons dealer/fence who's looking to get rid of a magic sword he's gotten ahold of...cheap. Only 6,000gp when usually a +1 item would be 10,000gp. So far they are not suspicious. They're going to be so pissed at me. I can barely contain my excitement.
