Random idea for high-lethality D&D campaigns: Character death unlocks new classes and races. Maybe useful in “special snowflake” campaigns where no one reads your carefully crafted setting material. Instead you roll it out piecemeal as PCs bite the dust. “I really want to play a saurian warlock…sure, I’ll take a drink of that mystery potion.” Someone probably thought of this before.

ReplyDeleteIt's nice that the fighters are pretty much exactly the same scake as what is used in X-wing, but astronomically cheaper.
ReplyDeleteI compared X Wings in Target and they were identical except the FFG ones had ink shading. The plastic is probably better too, but with the Micro machines you get like nine ships for the price of one from the minis game.
ReplyDeleteI recently helped my mother clean out a storage unit we've had since i was in middle school. I found an entire tub of star wars micro machines in there from when i was a kid ..... where do you get those bases?
