    It's nice that the fighters are pretty much exactly the same scake as what is used in X-wing, but astronomically cheaper.

    I compared X Wings in Target and they were identical except the FFG ones had ink shading. The plastic is probably better too, but with the Micro machines you get like nine ships for the price of one from the minis game.

    I recently helped my mother clean out a storage unit we've had since i was in middle school.  I found an entire tub of star wars micro machines in there from when i was a kid ..... where do you get those bases?
