I've been watching XY in the background while I play games. Shit's crazy. Hawlucha is the best. First time he appears he keeps losing battles because enemies keep attacking when he's doing his lucha victory pose. Ash at least teaches him to turn that into a finishing move.
At one point Ash's ninja frog does some sort of wacko evolution where he combines with Ash's soul or something sort of partially turns into Ash... And it's rad as hell. Helps that the animation quality has massively improved since I was a kid.
Actually the best of all Pokemon is Snivy because it looks like my daughter. ...like, with the arch eyebrow and facial expression, not the way it's a yellow-green snake.
Originally shared by Curt Thompson This is an interesting theory, but I notice the author has to omit one of the most important Heinlein novels to make it work. Time Enough For Love was written in the very early 70s and was a straight (heh) extrapolation of the chaotic and frenetic zeitgeist of that era. http://www.locusmag.com/Perspectives/2012/11/the-joke-is-on-us-the-two-careers-of-robert-a-heinlein/

Originally shared by Andrew “Incomitatum” Chason Hit Me with your Horror I am looking for some horror flicks. The newer the better. Good is good too. I liked House of 1000 Corpses and Devil's Rejects . I liked both the new Texas Chainsaw movies. Hills Have Eyes 1 was good (never saw the second . Jeepers Creepers 1 & 2 come to mind as well. A little camp, and/or "back woods" can't hurt. Any of you have any recommendations? Lets try and not go too far back than mid 90's. Aside: How was the new "Freddy" movie? Suggested So Far • Bones (2001) • Drag Me to Hell (2009) • The Grudge (2004) • Don't Be Afraid of the Dark (2010) • Dog Soldiers (2002) • The Decent (2005) • Creature (2011) • The Last Winter (2006)
Is that a luchador bird? If so, I concur.
ReplyDeleteIndeed. He strikes poses and then flies up and drops an elbow on other pokemon.
ReplyDeleteI concur with your assessment as well.
ReplyDeleteThis one and the one that wears the skull of it's dead mother - Cubone maybe. Best Pokymans.
ReplyDeleteRichard G opinions?
ReplyDeleteI confess I'm no longer up to date. I do love Cubone, though, and Reuniclus which appears to be a foetus in a green slime suit
ReplyDeleteYeah, I think this guy is newer. Saw him on XY.
ReplyDeleteHawlucha is a Fighting type and Fighting type is boring
ReplyDeleteCubone is still the best Pokemon

Also Ash seems actually competent now?
