Middle-aged white Republicans at work sound like they’re not even going to vote.

I went to my first election judge training. This was about how to use the new iPad based voter check-in/registration system. My reason for volunteering was correct. Everyone else there was at least 10 years older than I was, and most more than that. I wonder if anyone thought about the average age of a poll worker when they decided to switch from paper to electronic check in. There were a couple people who just didn’t get it. So, non-Minneapolis Hennepin county residents, you’ll be checked in with these iPad devices.

    I signed up late, so I'm only an alternate right now.

    Also, Lizard People had nothing to do with switching to an electronic system using "secure" wi-fi hot-spots.

    Tell them to vote libertarian. It'll be an interesting social experiment this year with how much people hate both main party candidates.

This is my gaming circle minus my ACKS players. I am such an asshole. Since they're in the big city now, the players really wanted to know if there were any magic weapons for sale. ACKS ain't 3e or 4e though. There is exactly one magic weapon for sale. I rolled randomly to see what it was and... ...it's a cursed -2 sword. So I told the players there's a weapons dealer/fence who's looking to get rid of a magic sword he's gotten ahold of...cheap. Only 6,000gp when usually a +1 item would be 10,000gp. So far they are not suspicious. They're going to be so pissed at me. I can barely contain my excitement.
