Frankenstein Alternate History Thoughts
Frankenstein Alternate History Thoughts
Frankenstein completes the female monster.
Henry Clerval’s murder never takes place and he is hired by the East India Company. His contributions increase its already considerable power.
Frankenstein’s worst fears come true. The female monster hates humanity more than the original monster. Not content to stay hidden in the wilderness, they steal Frankenstein’s notes, constructing an army for themselves.
Great Britain falls, with the Company becoming the de facto government of the British Empire, based in India.
Europe is a battlefield, with huge Frankensteinian war-monsters battling Corporate Empire Legions.

Holy crap.
ReplyDeleteNobody steal this! I'm taking it all the way to Broadway Baby! Hear that? Broadway!
ReplyDeleteIn the DC comic universe, the "Rot" - cosmic forces of decay - upset the balance of the world, and corrupt all living creatures into horrific twisted monsters of destruction.
ReplyDeleteFrankenstein's monster, seeing this spread across the world, manages to convert a legion of the US military into Frankenstein-monsters like himself who - being dead and embalmed and preserved - are immune to being twisted. This legion of monsters now roams the wastelands of America, not needing food, sleep, or rest - constantly in battle.
Of course, they have to help the one person who can fix this travel back in time, so they can stop the Rot in the past and make sure it never happened. A pity, that was a way more awesome setting than the default DC universe.
