My 5e Magick & Megacorps 2085 ended last night.

My 5e Magick & Megacorps 2085 ended last night. The Lizard People finally invaded while the party’s Bard’s band was putting on a benefit concert for the victims of the Transformer Massacre (the Mall of America was a transformer, and stomped through most of south Minneapolis before being defeated, crushing hundreds of homes and leaving thousands dead.) The Robo-Rex came through a portal and immediately breathed fire and blasted lasers into the crowd. After defeating it, they hacked it’s brain and using a Amulet of the Planes, shifted to the Lizard Dimension and defeated the King Lizard Wizard, trapping them there. Fade to black. The End?

Starting Perdition next session, back to some very procedural D&D instead of this loosey-goosey 5e I’ve been running.

  1. Wow, that's a lot of players. And looks like you were on voice only, right? Were all your connections fine or did they get laggy/disconnected often?

  3. The signs you can half are said "unity" and"awareness" until switching to "Submit to lizard rule" and "lizards are love."

  4. I love that you have actual graphic of large crowds, so as to really drive home the carnage. It's like a still-life of every day life in Chicago

  5. I found this clip art of cartoon people and used it for many crowds in this campaign. In fact, one of the recurring themes of this campaign seemed to be massive innocent bystander casualties.
