I keep telling my daughter "snitches get stitches" as a joke when she rats me out to my wife. But now she's started repeating that and I'm worried she'll start saying it at school.
Oh nothing will come of it - as long as Pence gets to see NIH's main concern becoming faith healing and menstrual tents, the House GOP helps make sure that the Koch bros pay a lower tax bill then your average unmarried teen mother and the CBP can keep shooting anyone they come across near the Mexican border it doesn't matter if Trump personally murders children for sick kicks (I don't think he does by the way). Nunes or whoever replaces him will make sure this investigation stumbles about and reports the White House line. I suspect this 'investigation' is more likely to end up with Hilalry and Obama in jail for 'crimes against the dignity of the state' then any actual jail time or political consequences for anyone in the GOP (well maybe the freedom caucus will be liquidated).
I'm sure Gus is right, but ... it's kind of like buying a lottery ticket; it's just fun day-dreaming about having all that justice even if you know it just won't happen.
Originally shared by Curt Thompson This is an interesting theory, but I notice the author has to omit one of the most important Heinlein novels to make it work. Time Enough For Love was written in the very early 70s and was a straight (heh) extrapolation of the chaotic and frenetic zeitgeist of that era. http://www.locusmag.com/Perspectives/2012/11/the-joke-is-on-us-the-two-careers-of-robert-a-heinlein/

Originally shared by Andrew “Incomitatum” Chason Hit Me with your Horror I am looking for some horror flicks. The newer the better. Good is good too. I liked House of 1000 Corpses and Devil's Rejects . I liked both the new Texas Chainsaw movies. Hills Have Eyes 1 was good (never saw the second . Jeepers Creepers 1 & 2 come to mind as well. A little camp, and/or "back woods" can't hurt. Any of you have any recommendations? Lets try and not go too far back than mid 90's. Aside: How was the new "Freddy" movie? Suggested So Far • Bones (2001) • Drag Me to Hell (2009) • The Grudge (2004) • Don't Be Afraid of the Dark (2010) • Dog Soldiers (2002) • The Decent (2005) • Creature (2011) • The Last Winter (2006)
