That was the day 13th Age was announced, and they're happy to play 13th Age instead. That will be my "Great Center" campaign, based in the imperial capital of Axis, the center of the world. It's my opportunity to explore the setting from yet another perspective.
I just ordered Stay Frosty also, and I have a Colonial Marines Technical Manual too!

ReplyDeleteI have the tech manual. It has informed several of my projects; I even gave it away as a gift once, and found I needed to get myself another copy.
ReplyDeleteWhat is it, an in universe tech manual? Or an out of universe exploratory and background work?
ReplyDeletegregory blair it's an in universe tech manual, covering the weapons and equipment seen on screen in Aliens, used by the USCM. There is some supposition, but it's pretty realistic and fits plausibly. It's got cool illustrations, including photos of uniforms and equipment modeled specifically for the book.
