Results of Saturday’s Maze Rats session: one little cousin totally hooked and anxious to play again. He is very bright and we share a birthday, so he is getting my 5e starter box that I’ve never used. I’ll print out a copy of Maze Rats for him too.
Sweet. How old is he?
ReplyDeleteNine.
ReplyDeleteAwwww yayyyy! Introduce the youth!
ReplyDeletesister Anna just started playing 5e a handful of months ago, and our 4-year old is pretty much peas and carrots with her, so I'm thinking about starting up a family D&D night myself.
ReplyDeleteThat maze rats will fit nicely in the roomy 5e starter box! Another good fit for that box might be world of mutants:

Say hi to Anna for me, Mike.
ReplyDeletewill do -- hilariously, I'm told that mom Kitty played D&D last night, playing some sort of jesus-type character. what a difference 30 years makes, i'm pretty sure that 30 years ago I was attempting to assuage my mom that I wasn't inviting the devil into our house somehow.
ReplyDeleteThat makes me very happy, Mike.
ReplyDeleteSuccess kid, literally! Maze Rats is great, not surprised.
