Gaming goal for this weekend is to try out a couple of lighter miniatures rulesets. Top of the list is Chris Kutalik's By This Axe. I made these two army lists for my Lego castle dudes.
Chris, is it legit for a unit to have a leader who is just always embedded in the unit without being a character? Basically there to hold up morale? Or are leaders supposed to be characters?

I played this a few times at Gen Con and your LEGO army reminded me of it: lugnet.com - Gaming : ~11/brickbattles
ReplyDeleteYes basically you can just have an attached leader. I have several pages of a revised manuscript languishing for BTA, correcting holes and adding some new elements.
ReplyDeleteCool. I like the looseness of the army organization rules. It feels like that unseen "how to build your army" section just comes from D&D's retainers and men-at-arms rules.
ReplyDeleteOnly marginally related: I love that you used the Metal Mania typeface. The same one I used (then subsequently modified) for the Brodesode logo.
