Started listening to The Name of the Rose.
Started listening to The Name of the Rose. I hazily remember seeing the Sean Connery/Christian Slater movie as a teenager. Immediately searched for a map of the Abbey, which exists of course. Along with maps of the library labyrinth, which was just mentioned. And the google search turned up a Minecraft(!) version of the Abbey.
This is a good map.
There's an indie video game based on the book, too. It's called The Abbey of Crime, review here:

ReplyDeleteRichard G Does anyone know what the Mortars room is in the Gall plan? Is it a place for grinding grain or?
ReplyDeleteI confess I don't know - and I'll have to actually look closely at the plan to try to figure it out..... that'll have to be in a month or so :(
ReplyDeleteI have used this stellar map in many a game!
