Jenkins was stealing food, but I just gave him one lash as a lesson. Then he did it again, and I stripped his back. But later he attempted a mutiny and I put a bullet in him. All before the Azores. Then, still 2000 miles from Nassau, we encountered a pirate warship and it sent my little brig and my crew to Davy Jones locker...
What game is this?
ReplyDeleteCaribbean Sail Daniel Swensen. Like Oregon Trail for sailors.
ReplyDeleteNever sail with a Leeroy.
ReplyDeleteI bought this game after you posted about it a couple of days ago. This thing's hard!
ReplyDeleteIt's mutiny Mr. Jenkins--mutiny! Can you do flogging through the fleet?
ReplyDeleteI wanna do a play-by-post of this game, like a crowdsourced choose-your-own adventure novel.

ReplyDeleteMugging! when you only have one crewmember left and he mutinies, that's a mugging.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad we got that straightened out.
Jenkins was the only troublemaker, he was eating the other crewmen's food too.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you should have had someone mediate.
ReplyDeleteCrew counseling sessions.
50 lashed, well laid.
ReplyDeleteI identify with Jenkins. Damn the man. Now hit me.
ReplyDeleteThink I'm getting the hang of this. New game with Navigator as Captain aboard a sloop. Lots of money, so I upgraded the sailing capabilities and just flew across the ocean. Made Nassau, did not turn pirate, so i had to go back to London to report it was under pirate control. Made a pit stop in New York, then made it back to London. The Admiralty made me a privateer and a mission to sink a pirate near Iceland.
ReplyDeleteAll Jenkins are now Jarretts.
ReplyDeleteIs there an end goal or just roam about and be a boss?
ReplyDeleteOnce you get to Nassau you can be a pirate or report the pirates to London and become a Privateer. Of course, nothing stops you from turning pirate at any time. Or you can just sail around. You gain xp from making port.
