For some reason Drivethru won't let me leave reviews. I don't know it's because I'm a publisher or what. So I'll just plug Faux Pas again. Fucked up town needs help and/or purging. It's good.
I guess it's to prevent hostile publishers from 1starring their competition? I don't really see that ever being a problem, though, or at least not enough to be unable to just manually delete those reviews.
Random idea for high-lethality D&D campaigns: Character death unlocks new classes and races. Maybe useful in “special snowflake” campaigns where no one reads your carefully crafted setting material. Instead you roll it out piecemeal as PCs bite the dust. “I really want to play a saurian warlock…sure, I’ll take a drink of that mystery potion.” Someone probably thought of this before.
Hey, I'm using Jeff and Brendan's 20 questions to help me get a feel for my upcoming Perdition campaign. Never done it before. Highly recommended. http://jrients.blogspot.com/2011/04/twenty-quick-questions-for-your.html http://www.necropraxis.com/2012/02/24/20-quick-questions-rules/
It won't let me leave them either. Same reason I think, even though I have no products in DTRPG - I just set myself up some years ago.
ReplyDeleteA while ago they stopped allowing publishers to post reviews.
ReplyDeleteThat's dumb. Every third customer is a publisher as well.
ReplyDeleteCasey G. Agreed. Very stupid. They could easily block you from reviewing your own stuff with the same account and still let you review others.

ReplyDeleteSo, I'm a publisher, and it didn't let me either - at first. Then, I was suddenly able to. It's weird.
ReplyDeleteWeird.
