I watched it over the past few days. Some of the dialog is really cringeworthy, but younger audiences probably love it. The art / animation is lovely, and the story is pretty decent so far. Poor pacing, of course, because shows intended for bingewatching just tend to ignore it.
Originally shared by Jonathan Tweet Tonight, my "Lethal Damage" 13th Age campaign draws to a close. Meanwhile, the guys are work have talked me into running a couple D&D sessions for them. That was the day 13th Age was announced, and they're happy to play 13th Age instead. That will be my "Great Center" campaign, based in the imperial capital of Axis, the center of the world. It's my opportunity to explore the setting from yet another perspective.
Correction in comments, I'm still mad Ok, I found out the 5e allosaurus from Tomb of Annihilation was only CR2 and was outraged, so I made a comparison of a D&D character and allosaurus specimen MOR 693. Then I compared the allosaurus to a polar bear, also CR2. The bear has 5HD and the allosaurus has 6HD. So, I take it back. CR 2 is fine.
I enjoyed it a good bit.
ReplyDeleteHow do you like it?
ReplyDeleteMy kids are watching it, and they get mad if one starts watching it without the other.
ReplyDeleteIt's not bad. Very anachronistic references, language, etc. And with the art style, it's basically a D&D campaign written by millenials.
ReplyDeleteIs it good? I'm trying to convince Iris.
ReplyDeleteI like it a lot. Humor, action, great animation and backgrounds.
ReplyDeleteAaron Ehasz is responsible for a great many things I enjoy, so the girlfriend and I will probably check this out after 3%.
ReplyDeleteHorned elfs = telflings
ReplyDeleteIt’s not a stand out must watch but it was fun. The season finale seems a bit abrupt.
