Coop and I delved into Castle Ravenloft again to stop the Howling Hag.

Coop and I delved into Castle Ravenloft again to stop the Howling Hag. This time we never ran into the hag at all. Instead, we both immediately drew three 2-monster tokens but got to the Arcane Circle as fast as we could. The monsters we drew were mostly tough 2 HP monsters. We survived with 1 HP each.

  1. Yeah, I recommend the board games for sure. Any of them.

  2. Need to break this out again with the twins. I did some make it up as you go dungeoning with it when they were small but never with the actual rulez.

  3. I had many issues with the adventure rules in later expansions. But I enjoyed this for what it is.

  4. I took this to Fall-In this weekend. Me and 2 friends played the Flesh Golem scenario and got our asses kicked. I added the Dungeon Command Undead set to this game and it ratchets up the difficulty if you are unlucky enough to pull a couple of them in a row.

  5. Coop was looking ahead in the campaign book and was pretty excited to use the Flesh Golem.

  12. The newest one, Tomb of Annihilation, has a campaign system built in. Its pretty cool.
But once you've played the Ravenloft one the rest seem much easier.

  13. I had no idea they made a Tomb if Annihilation one! I also have Temple of Elemental Evil that we'll start if we ever finish Ravenloft.

  14. I only own Ravenloft. Is there any rules for swapping cards/characters between sets?

  15. No rules needed, you can just do it. There is a difference in the way traps work with Temple of Elemental Evil and Ravenloft though, so you might want to look at the Rogues more closely.

  16. You can pay extra and get the Tomb one pre-painted!

  17. James LaManna - Where's the fun in that?!?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Yeah, the fun thing is not paint them and tell James LaManna you're never going to paint them every time he brings it up.
