So far I set up and drew my first Exploration card, which was an ambush. Two groups of traitor guardsmen.

  4. Sorry that took forever. Keep getting interrupted.

    Since this is an ambush, the baddies get to go first unless you do a Gambit. Which I did and got Draik to go second and that moved group 2 down to 5th.

  6. Well, lots of interruptions and putting a kid to bed means one combat is all tonight. UR-025 and Dahyak have 2 points of inspiration.
    Things I forgot or screwed up:
    Reinforcement rolls
    Ship powers
    Discovery points

    So, there's no "winning" a session except survival and gaining clues and tech. You draw these Legacy cards between sessions that will make things harder for you as you go on. So the longer you take, the harder it will get.

    Combat is simpler than a Fantasy Flight game like Imperial Assault, but still has funky dice etc.

    Things that could be better:
    Two heroes can stand on a hex, but two bases are wider than a hex.
    Each hero card should list all the standard actions you can take in addition to the character specific ones.

    Definitely gamey like Ravenloft. You can set up the enemies in ways that are advantageous and make them act in the way that is least harmful to the players.
